The Moon

The moon takes 29 days to orbit the earth once, it about one month. But it takes one years for the Earth to orbit the sun. Have you ever see the moon and wonder why there’s dark and bright spot on the moon? Well there craters, so where do  crater come from? From asteroids, asteroids are big rock in the sky, and when one hit the moon it created a hole call crater,the crater on the moon will stay there forever because there no air on the moon. Do you know that the earth looks pretty from the moon, astronauts explored the moon by bring moon rock back to Earth. Now i’m going to talk about how the moon changes shapes, the moon change shapes from a new moon to a first quarter then a full moon and then the third quarter. you can not see the new moon, let’s say if you see a full right now, that that means that after a week you will see a quarter moon have you ever wonder why the moon change shapes, after all the moon doesn't really change shapes well it’s because the sunlight comes from here to the moon it reflect back to earth so we see a full moon, but over here the sunlight does not reflect back to earth so we don’t see the moon in the sky, which is the new moon.
