Summary of Coyote and the River

It was a beautiful day and Coyote decided to go for a walk. Soon, Coyote began to feel hot and wanted more shade. Then, the sky looked stormy. But Coyote was still hot, he wished for it to rain. Then it rained heavier and heavier. Coyote wanted to cool off his feet. Next, a brook sprang up right beside Coyote. This is how the Columbia River was created.
